Developmental Editing and Spiritual Writing Coach
With over 20 years of writing, editing, and publishing experience, it is my great pleasure to support writers at every stage of the process, from initial content creation through to refining manuscripts and preparing for submission. Here are several ways we can work together:
Monthly Spiritual Writing Coaching: $150/month
One 60-minute session per month, via Zoom or in person.
Includes:
- Review of up to 15 double-spaced pages (new or revised), submitted at least two days prior to our call
- Thoughtful verbal feedback during our session
- Support around creative blocks, structure, and discernment
- Help developing a clear writing plan and goals for the coming month
- Optional Add-On: In-depth line or developmental editing on your submitted work. 15 double-spaced pages is typically 3,500-4,000 words, which would place the developmental editing cost at approximately $90-$100.

Developmental Editing
For writers who want careful, big-picture engagement with their work. This service focuses on structure, clarity, voice, and overall coherence—not just sentence-level edits.
Rate: $25 per 1,000 words
- 50% due upfront
- Remaining balance due upon delivery of manuscript notes
Strategic Consultation: Marketing, Content Strategy, and Operations
For leaders who want a trusted thought partner to provide strategic insights into marketing, content creation, and overall operations in regards to workflow, systems, and project management. Having led hundreds of different strategy sessions with educational institutions, manufacturers, non-profits, mental health institutions, and religious organizations, I am able to adapt and learn quickly about your industry to provide clarity and direction for your project, publication, program, or event.
Rate: $150/hour
Together, we can:
- Clarify message and audience
- Plan content and editorial strategy
- Create a detailed work plan for project implementation and execution
Content Creation
For brands, organizations, and individuals who need content that aligns with your overall vision and strategy, I can provide writing and design support for blogs, email campaigns, websites and landing pages, newsletters, social media content, video script writing, educational and devotional content, course development, and thought leadership pieces.
Generally speaking, I charge by the hour but am willing to provide a quote and time estimate for content creation. My hourly rate for content creation is $110. For marketing video script writing, my rate is $250 per scripted minute.
While I love to create content at your direction, I prefer to pair strategic consultation with content creation to give you both the vision and strategy as well as excellent and timely execution of that plan for seamless delivery from start to finish. A Note on AI & Content Creation
I am experienced in using AI tools strategically to support content creation, particularly for research synthesis, outlining, ideation, and workflow efficiency. I view AI as a tool, not a replacement for human insight, voice, or discernment. At the same time, I am deeply committed to honoring the values, policies, and preferences of each organization or individual with which I work and am equally comfortable working without AI entirely.
I will always defer to your standards, comfort level, and expectations when it comes to using AI for content creation. Whether a project involves minimal AI support or none at all, my priority is to deliver thoughtful, original, and human-centered work.
Writing Retreats and Public Speaking
I also lead writing retreats and speak at conferences, churches, universities, and creative gatherings by request. I am actively scheduling speaking opportunities to promote my new book, To Say One Million Times, WOW, which will be available Spring 2026. Please reach out if you are interested.
